DRAFT, needs lawyer review. This is a plain-English working draft. It is not legal advice and does not claim that Trackside meets any legal or carrier requirement.
SMS Terms
Last updated: October 17, 2026
These draft terms describe text messages sent through Trackside on behalf of a shop that uses it. [Lawyer: this page must match the wording used in any carrier or messaging registration.]
What you will receive
When you text a shop that uses Trackside, you may receive text replies about your inquiry: service information, the shop's prices, available appointment times, booking confirmations and related messages. In most cases you start the conversation by texting the shop. A shop that uses Trackside may also text someone who submitted its lead form, or follow up on a conversation that went quiet, only inside daytime hours in the shop's time zone.
Your agreement
By texting a shop that uses Trackside, you agree to receive text replies about your inquiry. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Cost and frequency
- Message frequency varies with your conversation.
- Message and data rates may apply, set by your mobile plan.
Stop and help
- Reply STOP at any time to stop messages. After that Trackside sends no more automated messages to your number unless you reply START.
- Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
Automated replies
Some replies are written by an automated assistant using the shop's own rules. A person at the shop can take over the conversation, and some requests are handed to the shop instead of getting an automated reply.
Carriers
Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
See the privacy page for how information is handled. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent for other companies' marketing.
